Speaking, exhibition and hosted-meeting rights create different kinds of access. Compare them against the same target account and buyer question rather than adding up the number of impressions promised in a prospectus.
| Right | Best suited to | Check in the contract |
|---|---|---|
| Speaking | Explaining a point of view or method | Editorial control, format, audience, speaker approval |
| Exhibition | Showing a product and handling open questions | Stand location, hours, utilities, passes, lead collection |
| Hosted meeting | Focused discussion with relevant people | Matching rules, opt-in, cancellations, meeting length |
One package may include only a stage introduction, not a substantive presentation. An exhibition right may still require extra staff passes or furniture. A hosted-meeting promise may be subject to attendee acceptance. AuSAE's public sponsorship page shows why inclusions must be read individually: some sponsorships exclude the exhibition booth and conference registration.
Ask the organiser to mark every right as included, optional or separately charged, with deadlines and an owner. Then plan the content or demonstration that makes the right valuable. A good outcome is a specific next conversation or decision, not simply occupying an agenda slot.
Sponsorship Inclusions: What’s Often Missing?
